Linux Kickstart (ROOT) 1.0
Paid Version
Publisher Description
Using root privileges this App will run a chrooted Linux on your Android device.
Your android will not be overwritten. Linux runs parallel to your Android OS.
This will only work if you already have root access, at least 4GB (small) or 6 GB(big) free storage space and are wlling to install BusyBox and a VNC Viewer App (both free).
Android and Linux will share their kernel.
Please note: As of technical reasons this strategy allows runnig a linux desktop environment on top of android but mitght not be 100% fully featuered. The display makes use of the free app Android VNC Viewer - which is a requirement - or also supports any other VNC client (optionally). A direct link is further made (optionally) to wyse pocket cloud pro if you have it installed.
If the app does not work on your specific device please contact our support. Do not leave a bad review as long as you didn't talk to us. Furthermore sometimes replying your support request might initially take up to one week.
As google only allows refund within 15 minutes we guarantee - if you write to our support - that you will get your money back if you contact us within 48 hours from purchase and we can not get the issue solved together with you.
Money Back Guarantee is valid if all of these circumstances are met:
-Linux is not running (does not include incompatibility to specific applications)
-You contacted our support within 48 hours from purchase
-You did wait for our reply (might take up to a week)
-If we try to solve the issue - you have to help up to a time of 4 weeks (beginning with the day of opening your support ticket). Then you decide: going on solving or money back.
In any other case: Just write to us. We will try to find a solution.
We can NOT help you with rooting your device!
P.s.: Yes, this is the next generation of Ubuntu Kickstart App! - Now not Ubuntu but a more recent, free linux distribution with even better features.
P.p.s.: We were forced to publish this as a new app by google. If you are a customer of Ubuntu Kickstart you can contact support@firesplash.de and tell us your google order id of both, Ubuntu KS and Linux KS after purchasing this new version via google wallet. We will then refund up to 50% of the price you paid for Linux Kickstart (depending on what you paid for Ubuntu Kickstart).
